Dream Team Adventures Book - 12yr old Dylan Daly from Loughrea in Galway decided after his dad did a sponsored Green Mile Run around Ireland for Share a Dream he too wanted to do something. Dylan an avid writer since he was 7yrs old and eventually wants to be a famous Hollywood writer decided he would write a book about the work of Share a Dream and their Dream Team Adventures for children around the country. Now Dylan has launched his book and has already sold a couple of hundred copies for Share a Dream! Dylan will appear on RTE on April 27th at 4pm on Elev8 and tell all about his Dream Team Adventures Books.
The Tochair Walk Sun 19th August- Walk the old Croagh Patrick Walk. Choose from the Full walk – 26miles, half walk 13miles or a quarter 6.5miles. You decide. The walk organised by local men Robbie Mc Carthy and John Mulcrane is full of crack and history.
Walk in the Alps – 4th -8thSeptember 2012. Join us on this year’s Walk in the Alps. A 5 day trip to Austria. Participants raise their funds to do the challenge and then do 4 days of hill walking in the beautiful breathtaking autrian alps. This is not mountain climbing but hill walking so participatnts just need to have a standard level of fitness to take part. Sign up today!
